Lawrenceville is in Gwinnett County, Georgia and is also the county seat. This suburb of Atlanta is located approximately 30 miles Northeast of Downtown Atlanta. There is a fishing lake for people who want to fish as well as a boat ramp to help make things a little easier. Both electric and non – motorized boats are allowed in this lake. There is also a playground, grills and a 3.4 mile paved trail for you to hike, bike or just take a stroll on. There is also “Ozora Meadows” which can accommodate up to 3,500 people for large events like corporate parties and holiday gatherings. There is also a non-paved equestrian trail where you can ride horses or mountain bike.
The Local Republic – If you are looking to grab a bite to eat, head over to The Local Republic. This Gastropub has something for everyone. This place has everything little bites to big sandwiches and everything in between. There is also an extensive adult beverage list that features dozens of local beers and wines.
