Atlanta is a major metropolitan city located in Fulton County in the state of Georgia. Atlanta has the third largest concentration of fortune 500 companies including the likes of the Coca-Cola Company, AT&T Mobility, Delta Airlines, the Home Depot, and UPS just to name a few. Atlanta is also seeing a population boom over the last year or so. 2015, the city saw more new residents then in any year since the Olympic Games of 1996. Schools in Atlanta are administered by the Atlanta board of education. This board overseas nearly 55,000 students in 100 in three different schools. There are 50 elementary schools, 15 middle schools, 21 high schools, for single gender academies, and 13 charter schools within the district. Amongst the highest rated schools within Atlanta are: Lakeside High School, North Atlanta High School, Inman Middle School, and Dekalb Path Academy Charter School,
