Atlanta is a major metropolitan city located in Fulton County in the state of Georgia. As the state capital, Atlanta has a population of almost 465,000 people however, when factoring in the surrounding metropolitan area, that number increases two more than 5½ million, making it the ninth largest metropolitan area in the United States. Atlanta is a major commercial and business hub, not just in United States, but on a global scale. It's gross domestic product of $270 Billion ranks Atlanta number eight in the US and number 36 in the world. 
 
One of the biggest draws in moving to Atlanta is to be in a city that is growing both in terms of population as well as commercially. Atlanta has the third largest concentration of fortune 500 companies including the likes of the Coca-Cola Company, AT&T Mobility, Delta Airlines, the Home Depot, and UPS just to name a few. If being at the centre of high-level business activity is important to you, Atlanta is a destination to consider.
 
Atlanta is also seeing a population boom over the last year or so. 2015, the city saw more new residents then in any year since the Olympic Games of 1996. For those who feel enriched by the performing arts, Atlanta is a haven with something happening at all times. You can choose from performances by the Atlanta Opera, Atlanta Ballet, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, or the Atlanta Theater. There’s also numerous art galleries and museums including the high Museum of Art, the Museum of Design Atlanta, and the Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia.

Schools in Atlanta are administered by the Atlanta board of education. This board overseas nearly 55,000 students in 100 in three different schools. There are 50 elementary schools, 15 middle schools, 21 high schools, for single gender academies, and 13 charter schools within the district. Amongst the highest rated schools within Atlanta are: Lakeside High School, North Atlanta High School, Inman Middle School, and Dekalb Path Academy Charter School,
